"I sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Stuttgart City. When I initially checked in on 16April, I had just had a very traumatic experience with Germany's train system (a pre-booked 3 hour trip from Essen City to Stuttgart turned into a 7 hour trip ... that's another story altogether), the person who checked me in was Philipp Haag. Obviously I was in a "very bad mood", however, Philipp was able to remove my angst. I told him that I wanted to end the traumatic day with a very good steak dinner. Since your facility did not have an in-house restaurant, he recommended a restaurant (that he patronizes also), made the table reservation and even called a taxi to transport me to the said restaurant.
Philipp was not mistaken as I enjoyed my steak dinner. Also of note, while waiting for time to go to my 8pm reservations, I decided to have a cocktail from your bar, he took the initiative to prepare some hors d'oeuvres for me. Appreciating his initiative ... I told him "I hope the hotel management appreciates his multi-taking abilities.
He also was very helpful in that when he asked me "how is your day", I replied that I was able to finish earlier my planned activities on day 2 of a 7day planned hotel stay. He suggested that I might find it interesting to go to the outlet stores in Metzingen, and even provided links for transportation to go to the area.
These experiences for me made a very good impression with regards to the brand "Ibis Hotels". that even when I cut short my stay at your facility, I booked a night's stay at Ibis Hotel Dusseldorf (but again that's another story).
I plan to use the brand in my future travels."
