"Quite happy with this hotel. Staff are really friendly and always there to help. The hotel is well located as is not on a busy road. It is however between two stations one which has several ubahn lines to the city centre (Pragfriedhof) and one which has a single ubahn and a few sbahn lines (Nordbahnhof). There are food places nearby or you can get to Mileneo or the city centre easy enough for more options. The rooms are clean and functional. There are both stairs and lifts to get you to your floor. The breakfast is typical of what you should get in a German hotel and there is a variety of choice to change what you have each day. There is a bar and outdoor seating area for the evening. The only downside would be there is a certain amount of noise between the rooms. This always seems to be the case I have found. Luckily it didn't disturb my sleep."

"The first room 116 was very very bad as people in the bar downstairs were talking very loud until 03:00 AM. I asked the reception to intervene. Also other hotel client complained but the people in the bar only screamed to 'Close the window!'. It was loud also with the window closed. We changed room to 620 the following day, it was a bit better, but still noisy. I accept this in a hoStel but not in an Hotel!"

"Stayed here on a business trip from UK and used public transport to get from airport which was very easy! However, the hotel doesn’t have much around it; it’s in what I would describe as a business park and literally the only thing within remote walking distance is a Vietnamese restaurant directly opposite the hotel. I don’t speak and can’t read German so trying to navigate my way through a Vietnamese menu with German descriptions was pretty hopeless! I felt the food was poor and service even worse so don’t recommend that restaurant which is a shame as the hotel literally only has a drinks bar so no food whatsoever. Not even a vending machine to get snacks! There’s no local shops either! Room itself was clean, quiet and had working air conditioning. No complaints there. Just the location coupled with very few onsite facilities means it’s not ideal for people who don’t have access to a car to travel around."

"I sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Stuttgart City. When I initially checked in on 16April, I had just had a very traumatic experience with Germany's train system (a pre-booked 3 hour trip from Essen City to Stuttgart turned into a 7 hour trip ... that's another story altogether), the person who checked me in was Philipp Haag. Obviously I was in a "very bad mood", however, Philipp was able to remove my angst. I told him that I wanted to end the traumatic day with a very good steak dinner. Since your facility did not have an in-house restaurant, he recommended a restaurant (that he patronizes also), made the table reservation and even called a taxi to transport me to the said restaurant. Philipp was not mistaken as I enjoyed my steak dinner. Also of note, while waiting for time to go to my 8pm reservations, I decided to have a cocktail from your bar, he took the initiative to prepare some hors d'oeuvres for me. Appreciating his initiative ... I told him "I hope the hotel management appreciates his multi-taking abilities. He also was very helpful in that when he asked me "how is your day", I replied that I was able to finish earlier my planned activities on day 2 of a 7day planned hotel stay. He suggested that I might find it interesting to go to the outlet stores in Metzingen, and even provided links for transportation to go to the area. These experiences for me made a very good impression with regards to the brand "Ibis Hotels". that even when I cut short my stay at your facility, I booked a night's stay at Ibis Hotel Dusseldorf (but again that's another story). I plan to use the brand in my future travels."

"Friendly staff, flexible housekeeping. Entrance to room a bit cramped, but bed comfortable. There's really *nothing* on terms of amenities in easy walking distance of this hotel. Car-dominated Stuttgart in general seems to be short on accessible restaurants and coffee shops for a city of its size. (Even pedestrianised Königstrasse leading down from the eternal building site of the Hauptbahnhof has less choice than you'd expect.)"

"I have included a special request to put a baby cot, however during check-in I was informed that there are only 2 baby cots for the entire hotel (which has 120 rooms), and non of them are available why was I not informed in advance?! I would have gone to another hotel if I knew that. I had one of the worst nights as a result and it's entirely your hotel's fault. this was my last experience with IBIS, thank you for that."

"I expected a minimum quality when booking an Ibis hotel. I have stayed in several Ibis hotels before. The room I got allocated was completely empty except a TV. Bathroom did not have any amneties like a shaving mirror, it had an all in one liquid for hand, body, face, and hair I don;t know if it works as a car wash too. Breakfast was average, there was not any choice of fresh juices only apple and orange premade. Fruits was not fresh, I believe they were canned. Totally not worth spending around 140 Euro per night."

"My friends and I needed to change our booking at the last minute, and the staff replied immediately and worked to satisfy our request. The staff was extremely professional throughout the entire stay and were helpful when one of my friends needed to borrow a cell phone charger. Overall, a great experience. "This hotel is in a good location in the city. It does the job for a quick overnight stay. The price was very fair for a last minute reservation. I requested cots be set up prior to our arrival and they were. The breakfast had a good variety. However, it lacked many things that other All Accord/Ibis hotels offer. The quality is what I would have expected from an Ibis Budget hotel. No washing cloths or extra sheets/blankets are provided in the room. The towels had hair on them from prior guests, which makes you feel that everything else is not properly clean either. There seems to only ever be one person on staff, so they are not able to provide any requests to the room. It was my least favorite Ibis stay so far. Now I know to avoid the City line just as I would have avoided the budget. Fine for a single or business trip in the city for convenience, but I would not recommend for families or leisure travelers staying multiple nights."
