"I've been a regular guest with IBIS and IBIS BUDGET for years and years. Very convenient hotels along the highway throughout Germany and France. Always very easy access by car, clean rooms, valuable breakfast and good priced for the purpose of stay.
On that note, I again booked IBIS for myself and my two kids (age 8 + 10) a 2 night stay in July 2024 in Stuttgart.
NOTE: Only 2 towels and 2 glasses in the room for a 3 people booking.
I went to reception politely asking for 1 additional towel as I assumed the hotel staff forgot we were 3 people.
Reception staff looked up the room in the system :
" No, no extra towel as all was, as it was suppose to be. you are 2 kids + 1 adult in the room, and that is only 2 towels."
so, for the remaing 2 nights, we had to share towels, not being able to shower the same day, as the towels where wet.
when I received the staff reply about the additional towel, I figured out there was no point in asking for an extra glass - it was mission impossible.
disappointing, really disappointing ! - and then you start adding the other small things which was a bit off aswell , but would have been minor things.
don't forget, Hotels today, only have 1, or max 2 chances to make it a repeat guest.... in this case, there where 4 other hotels as neighboors ! Just saying."
