"I enjoyed my week stay at the Pullman-Stuttgart-Fontana. Friendly and professional front desk staff (especially Vivian and Erik, deputy GM). Erik went out of his way to accommodate me despite a minor bump. Iris and Ashley were the best at the bar and restaurant. They were very attentive to the customers' needs. The hotel in itself was very clean, with snacks and drinks at the entrance of the check-in desks. I will definitely be back and will recommend the Pullman to others."

"One week stay, the lifts are always busy. Room are cold I had to use both blankets. One day housekeeping took one I called to bring it back they did after 2 hrs and 2 calls. Restaurant don’t want to bill dinner on the room etc."

"I usually stay in Stuttgart but the rooms weren't available so I picked this hotel. Vaihingen wasn't a bad town and a lot of restaurants are within easy walking distance. On the other hand, there was something going on at the hotel and a security person was sitting right in front of my hotel room and there was no wifi available from my room. Also, because the hotel is right next to a train station, you can hear the trains going by."

"Ever since COVID, the service at this hotel has been going down hill. I've been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and this is my last time. Once again, the check in lines were horrible. Once I did get my room key, I entered the room only to find that I had been put in a single handicap (accessible) room when my reservation was for a superior queen room. I went back downstairs and the line was even longer. I was already late for a meeting with friends so I did not bring this up to the staff later in the evening since I was only staying one night (thank god)."

"The location is great, but I was sick the entire time and therefore spent the majority of my time in my room. I was very disappointed that out of 66 channels only 14 came in. "I like the centrally located location and the room was well equipped. I was travelling with my adult son so an option to have two smaller beds in one room would be nice, but that is a small complaint. There was a published issue with the heated water but overall this was a minor problem. The receptionists were polite and helpful, particularly the pretty bright red haired gal, unfortunately I didn't see her name. I intend to stay at the Vaihingen Fontana again on the next visit. "I was ripped off becaise i booked and had my reservation on my phone saying i had free parking and free breakfast. Clerk said nope that is only for weekend rate and you checked in on thrusday. "We were extremely pleased and appreciative of the hospitality we received at the Pullman Fontana, arriving from Washington, DC, with our dog G. and needing to book a room on short notice due to a mixup with another hotel in the area. Ms Heike was at the front desk that day and embraced the opportunity to make us feel welcome and comfortable from the start. G. would look for her every time she got off the elevator for her morning walks, or upon returning from outside, confident of some kind words and a quick stroke of the head. We found all of the staff -- including housekeeping, despite the apparent unfamiliarity with dogs of some -- to be gracious and friendly, focused on making our stay pleasant and trouble free. Looking forward to returning -- even just to say hello to Ms Heike, G.'s good friend -- during our longer-term stay in the area."

"The hotel is good. But the receptionist didn't check the membership status before giving me a room to see if I'm supposed to get an upgrade or a welcome drink. It's only when I told her I have a gold membership that she checked that she provided a welcome drink voucher but she didn't accept to give a room upgrade so I got a basic room not a premium one. When I called for later check out they also didn't check and wanted to charge me. I had to tell again about the membership."

"Check in was ok. The staff was friendly. The gang of foreigners running a business and smoking out front was a little off putting. And made one feel not safe. The parking was ok, but expensive for the area. It is not like the hotel is in downtown Stuttgart. The room was nice as to be expected. The shower was designed so that when using, you couldn’t help but to splash water out and even into the hall. There was no way to handle this but put towels on the floor. The bed was nice and firm, and there were enough pillows. The biggest disappointment was the tv. After trying multiple things to get it to work we called the reception desk and was told that all the televisions in the hotel hadn’t been working for two days and there was nothing they could do. This, they could have told us upon check it. It would have saved us some time and would have been upfront. After a week in France we, had looked forward to watching some german television again, and this was a huge let down. We had to pay 20 euros for our small dog for nothing. This is a standard money maker that hotels put on people, although kids are free and cause much more damage to rooms. At lease some hotels will put in bowls, or a dog treat or something. 20 is still steep as most charge 10. Breakfast was also a let down for the Pullman. The options were more of a small hotel size, and the number of people eating was too many. There was no flow to the buffet, and lots of people were reaching in out and with their hands touching the food. Any trained food server knows this is how bacteria and diseases are spread. The coffee machine had no milk for 15 minutes with no one to fill it up. There was no butter also for a long time, until we had to point this out to the staff. There were quite a few tables that were just left dirty, and not enough clean ones for the amount of new guests to sit at. Again, not what i expected to for the Pullman. Next time i will go back to my regular hotel in the area with an auto motif. The breakfast is superior, and the service is top. The price is also much better."

"The front desk staff was oddly rude upon check in and when I called for room service (there was a button on the phone for restaurant room service. When I called the number I asked to order room service and the front desk staff asked who I wanted sent to my room and then connected me with the restaurant; whom didn’t pick up the phone). The gym was good, along with the restaurant food, even though I would’ve liked to relax in my room after a long day. My door also didn’t lock upon leaving. I had to use the key card and turn the handle (room 811). The ac did not work well at all."

"The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly. The breakfast options were good though could do with more for vegans and halal diets. The surrounding location was beautiful with parks and forests. It’s right next to the tram and train station along with bus stops therefore excellent commute and easy to get to central and city centre. However I didn’t give it 10 due to the following reasons: 1. I was aware that the Spa offered beauty massages which we were looking forward to but upon arrival we were extremely disappointed to hear that the masseuse was on holiday for a couple of weeks! I mean I would expect that 4 star hotel would know to arrange an alternative masseuse to cover for someone while they’re away. I thought that was poor management. 2. When I originally booked the hotel I enquired whether it would be possible to warm up food. I was advised that the rooms have no facility but front desk should assist us with that. Once again to our disappointment when we asked front desk their kitchen staff refused!!! Therefore a good amount of food went to waste! I don’t understand what harm can be caused to anyone or any equipment if we are just asking to warm up normal food??"

"When we arrived without the room, we noticed that the coffee capsules had not been replaced. Similarly, the minibar was empty. We pointed this out and it was sorted. Then, wanting to go to the spa area, we noticed that the dressing gowns were not in the room. We had to ask reception. This was corrected. Then we noticed that the welcome drink voucher had not been given to us. We went back to reception to ask for it. Finally, the air conditioning in the room was not working! In short, a rare and unpleasant accumulation of defects and qualities. This is the first time I've seen this since I started travelling with Accor."

"It was a nice hotel and good location. The staff were fairly friendly in the reception area and were exceptional in the bar area. I was just a bit disappointed with our room as I booked one with a kitchenette as thought this would be useful during our week stay. It consisted of a sink, fridge, microwave and kettle (which was fine) but had no plates, no washing up liquid, no bin liners in the kitchen bins but yet there were cooking utensils, a colander and a drawer full of cutlery. We also had a mini ‘flood’ in the room after a thunderstorm through the unopened windows. The staff who attended were very quick to react, very nice and did offer us to change rooms. However, because we had only one day of our stay remaining we declined. We just thought that we may have been offered at least a complimentary drink or something for the inconvenience. Overall a good hotel. Pool very nice but a little cold."

"My family stayed here for our visit to Stuttgart and we enjoyed it. We especially loved the location that is close to transportation - The bus and train stations are a walking distance literally outside the hotel. Although the bus and trains are so close, I don't remember hearing any train noises when resting in our rooms. The rooms were clean and well maintained not to mention the comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which always had a variety of items to pick from. The staff were also very kind and patient with us always ready to help whenever we reached out. I think we just found our home base for when we are at Stuttgart. I highly recommend this hotel."

"This hotel has many benefits: great location near the train station with only 12 minutes train ride to the centre, great playground and park next door, great water park nearby, short walk to nice cafes and stores etc. Also the rooms are beautifully renovated and there is a nice pool. The front desk staff was in general quite friendly. Unfortunately there were some real issues with cleaning and air-condition. Worst problem was the almost complete lack of cleaning. Apparently the cleaning routine was daily cleaning unless you hung a don't disturb sign on the door. But after the cleaning personnel had ben there, you could hardly tell the difference: dirt on the floor, waste buckets not emptied, cups not cleaned or replaced etc. We complained several times, without any improvement. Also air-condition didn't work properly and the down comforter was way to warm."

"Great Service! Two years later after renovation, the Hotel looks/feels great! Breakfast is delicious. However, I would appreciate a bit bigger coffee mugs. Need minimum of two (2) tiny mugs to get my "american" portion. Pool and sauna are great and comfortable. The gym needs upgrades. More dumbbells and Smith machine. Current weight plates are "sad". I spent more time figuring out how to perform strength training with the sad tools that were available. Adding one (1) ERG Rower Machine will be great. The staff is outstanding!"

"I had a room booked via my company, I needed a further night, private, it took me over an half hour to book a further night....first I needed to call 3 times until I finally got through, afterwards it took another 20 minutes to book the room and I was not able to get feedback if I am able to stay in the same room for 2 nights, ridiculous! I also tried to book via mobile app, but the app is not working well. Check-in took very long, I dont understand why these check-ins take so long and are not better prepared upfront....my key card did not work the next day, I needed to check-out and than check-in again because of the private night, in my opinion the entire process is to long and complicated....."

"Conviently located right by the train station, a park, shopping, and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was bomb! Room was good, but a bit dirty (i.e. rug looked dingy, sticky spots on floor). Great customer service at check in and bar/lounge area. Had an issue with the parking garage ticket not working a couple times and had to go get it fixed at front desk to leave."

"We have booked for 2 adults and 1 child ( 12 years ). At arrival staff said there is no extra bed for our son, so he must sleep between us. This is absolutaly not acceptable in a 4 star hotel, as it was not surprise we arrive 3 persons. Payment: at arrival hotel wanted to charge my credit card with the total amount ( this is OK ), plus 100 EUR. The reason is for plus 100 EUR I might have consumption ( hotel bar, etc. ), and if I will not pay ( ???? ), hotel can charge my card. So hotel thinks I go out without payment........ Other things are OK, breakfast is excellent."

"- Booked accessible room, standard room allocated, had to change rooms - No TV remote, got a replacement from reception which worked for about an hour, resorted to using the buttons on the TV - Room made up for single occupancy. One set of towels, one cup, good job we bring our own. - Mini bar price list but no mini bar. - Bathroom floor slopes toward the room, water goes everywhere when having a shower, running into the bedroom. Pullman is supposed to be an Accor premium brand. This is as basic as an Ibis."

"My first room had no heat with very low temperatures outside and near freezing at night. Repairs attempted but room still cold.Ceiling debris all over the floor from the workers. After 4 days I was given a portable desk top heater. I used this for a couple of days and when room was still cold I was given a larger space heater. Did not feel safe using this overnight. Complained to reception that I wanted to change rooms. The woman who was in charge of the reception desk initially stated no rooms available. She made me feel like this was all my fault. Finally, after I insisted on changing rooms that Friday morning, for some unknown reason a room suddenly became available and she told me I had to change rooms immediately that morning, despite the fact that I had plans to be gone all day with friends. I clearly told her that this was the hotel’s problem; not mine. My friend ended up helping me move from the 3rd floor to the 12th floor and we unpacked and put some food in the mini bar (the light inside was working and I turned the temperature up to “high”) . The next day I was taking an overnight trip. When I returned Sunday, I found that the mini bar was not working. I had to throw out beer, yogurt, cheese etc. I called reception. They installed another mini bar. Ten minutes later I lose power in my room. Gets fixed. Power goes out again. By now I am furious. So much for a 4 STAR HOTEL!!! Finally I receive a brand new minibar and now everything is working as it should have been in the 1st place, with just 2 days left to my stay. Outrageous!! I felt like I was constantly having to fight for all these things that should have been taken care of before these rooms were ever allowed to be occupied. There was such a lack of communication amongst the staff- it was astounding to me that the Pullman is considered a 4 * hotel. They have a lot to work out before I’d consider staying there again. I will say that the restaurant, bar and reception staff, with the exception of the head of reception, was very nice and helpful. She was abrupt, unfriendly and interrupted me multiple times during my stay there when I was requesting help with the above problems."

"lets start with the good thing , hotel is very clean , and got a great location upon check in i found that the room didn't have refrigerator or minibar ( though it is advertised on accor website that it does have minibar ) , when i went back to the reception i was told that there is no minibar and if i want to have a drink i can go to the bar and there was nothing to be done about it ( very inconvenient ) so when i went back to the room i was looking for accor M3 network for internet or something , but didn't find any so i had to go back to the reception for the second time and ask about internet so i was given a network and a password ( i should have been given this information upon check in ) , anyhow when i went back to the room the internet signal was very weak in the room , so i had to go back to the reception for the third time , so one of the front office ladies suggested i get another room ( internet was important for work and my mobile got roaming rate plan ) so i repacked and moved all my stuff for a new room , when i went to the new room found out the tv remote doesn't work and and the hand soap container was empty in the bathroom , after moving rooms and going numerous times on complaining trips to the front office , i decided that i will not go again no matter what the problem is , i ended up buying some hand soap from a near by and didn't use the TV , will i stay there again ?? sorry but no despite the great location of the hotel ps : it is very wrong from accor all website to advertise the rooms as having minibars while it is not true"

"The Pullman is located centrally to everything! It’s a 3 minute walk to the train and even closer to a bus stop. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and a full daily breakfast. I would have given a 10/10 if there had been better vegetarian options at the restaurant. Yes I know – it the land of wurst and schnitzel – but a non-meat flammkuchen would be a really easy option to add."

"I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights on a business travel. I was pleasantly happy with the quality of their beds, their breakfast and variety of options and the overall service. Their gym is sufficient for a functional workout and they have a pool which I was sadly not able to use. Would come again and stay."

"The good: breakfast is excellent and the location (right by buses, trains and metro, as well as grocery stores and restaurants) is very convenient. Most of the facilities are very nice. The not-as-good: some of the reception staff were not as experienced and knowledgeable as others and mixed up information. For example I asked one person to book me a taxi to the airport at 3:30 am on Saturday - and got a call at 3:15 am on *Friday* informing me that my taxi to the airport was ready. The spa hours were also not as posted (the woman there - who is also the spa receptionist - only works until 6pm, not 9pm), and I had them cancel a massage last-minute because I had booked one for after 6pm. Housekeeping was also hit-or-miss: I thought the room was clean until I looked under the bed to retrieve a dropped item - and discovered that the carpet likely hadn't been vacuumed in months, that's how thick the dust was! I stayed for four days and also noticed that they replenished some things (like tea), but not others (like coffee, or toiletries), and never replaced used cups and glasses with clean ones."

"The woman who checked me into my room was very rude. She actually put her hand up and told me to stop talking when I tried to explain that although the person I arrived with had changed her reservation my reservation had no changes. It was one of the most disrespectful things I have encountered during a lifetime of traveling for work. I felt the opposite of being welcomed to the hotel. The facilities are nice enough but there is no excuse for rude treatment of guests."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pullman. Your restaurant annd bar staff are to be commended. Rooms were a little warm and it would be nice to have more robust air conditioning. Garage drop arm did not work regularly for me, but the staff were helpful in fixing the problem."

"Not the best stay at Pullman: - got a room which was not cleaned. After that got another room where there was neither soap nor shampoo - reception not responding to phone calls, noone answers calls. Went downstairs and there was no queue at the front desk - aircon was not working (set to 15 degrees was blowing hot air). Reported to the reception, nothing has been done"

"The room was lovely, the bed was amazing but the AC did not work at all. We checked in the room, turned the AC down as low as it would go seeing the room was warm. We were there for an event, so we quickly got dressed and headed down to the ballroom for the evening. When we returned to the room at midnight, the room was still extremely warm and the AC was clearly not working. For the price of the room, the air conditioning should work."

"I am always very satisfied with the hotel, rooms, breakfast and overall stay. But the service at the front desk is always way too slow. I've been there multiple time and it still takes 20 mins to check-in. Non of my information is saved and even though my company stays there a lot, we still have to write down the address every time. And in addition to that address and name process, the whole checking in takes forever. Very satisfied with the hotel itself but very frustrated with the front desk check-in service."

"The main issue I had during my stay, 6 nights all together, is the fact there is no iron and iron board available in the room. I have been told on 3 different days, that they were all being given away and have been redirected to the ironing room on level 2. That room is a shame for such a hotel. Messy, not to say dirty, with a board covered by a filthy cloth, and an iron, I got worried to use, not to damage my shirts."

"I’m an ALL gold member and stay in regularly in your hotels. This one was ver much dissatisfying. We had 2 connected rooms with kids, I got no upgrade asked for availability of a suite, which was not checked because reception was overwhelmed with 2 more additional guests for check-in. Apparently too much for the receptionists! Room air condition was not working.. which is no big deal. For our welcome drink I received suprising lecture from your bartender that prosecco/sparkling wine is not wine and cannot be served as a welcome drink. Apparently 4,5eur per glass wine is included but 7,5eur glass sparkling wine is a burden for the hotel.. your policy says wine beer or soft drinks, he made a very big deal out of it. I would bever stay in hotel again"
